Mission

EauClaireHmongHeritageLogo

The Eau Claire Hmong Heritage Month (HHM) was established to promote an appreciation for and education of the complexities of Hmong culture and history among members of the UWEC campus and the Eau Claire community. The events are meant to be impactful and informative experiences for University students, staff/faculty, and community members; it is the hope of the committee that HHM will inspire conversations about current issues in the Hmong community as well as foster critical thinkingabout the challenges that the Hmong community continues to face in America.
